Friday Flashback 10/25/13

Happy almost Halloween!

Oh I know these aren't Halloween decorations but, since I drug my feet all month and didn't get them up, I decided to get a jump on my Thanksgiving decor. Plus it gives me a bit more time to make everything perfect.

I do tend to be a perfectionist.

Something that drives Kevin crazy.

Actually I think the term he refers to is OCD. Which technically should be CDO if alphabetized correctly.

Just saying.

But really? How many people out there just feel better when the bed is made, the bathroom is clean, everything is in place in the kitchen, etc?

Decorating the house for holidays, fresh flowers, and candles burning are icing on the cake for me.

It just makes me feel good. Like my mind and body are relaxed and happy.

OK, maybe I am a tad weird.

But hey, don't mess with my zen man!!

See, this is happiness.

I am also becoming obsessed with crocheting again. It has been a while, so I am sticking to granny squares to use in lap throws. I am working on a Christmas themed one first and then on to one in Seahawk blue and green.

2 nights of crocheting. I am a granny making square monster!!

OK, let's go to the happening on the blog this week and get out of my head.

  15. Lol, you sound like me, I'm always at least one holiday behind when it comes to decorating. In any case, your decor is gorgeous and I think that it ended up being appropriate for Halloween and Thanksgiving at the same time.

  16. The pumpkin applesauce sounds good and so does the dressing. My husband would eat the BLT egg avocado but not me. I love our decorations. I don't have any decorations anymore except Christmas, now that will take a day or two to get the house done :) But I have a friend who it takes 5 weeks, yes weeks, to get her Christmas decor up, on the inside!
