A Few of My Favorite Things 5/3/14

Happy Saturday my foodie friends!

I hope that your week was a good one. Mine was fabulous!

Although I am still trying to adjust to my guy working nights, the weather has taken a turn for the wonderful here in Western Washington and I was able to get the tomatoes planted in my garden.

I also have some rosemary and chives planted, as well as shallots, onions, and celery that I am "regrowing". It is kind of a fun experiment and I will let you know how it goes.

Anyway, let's get on to the reason you are here. My "finds" for the week. I hope you enjoy them!

My Favorite E-Book
The Everyday Healthy E-Cookbook from A Pinch of Yum. I absolutely adore Lindsay and Bjork. Between fabulous food, terrific photography, and a lot of helpful blogging information, I am usually on their blog everyday. I was so excited to see the pre-sale for their newest cookbook, and can't wait to get my hands on it!!

My Favorite App/Website
The Our Grocery List app. This app is a Godsend! Available to both iPhone and Android, it lets you share shopping lists between people. How many time have you needed things from the store, and your significant other is out but doesn't have your list? I know it would drive Kevin crazy if I called him with a long list of ingredients that I needed for a recipe I was making that night. He would have to stay on the phone with me as I rattled off items one.by.one.

Now, with this app, I add the things I need on my phone and BOOM he has the list, can go shopping, and there is no wellllllll minimal complaining! Best of all it is FREE!!

My Favorite Food
OK let me warn you that my Mexican food obsession took over this week with Cinco de Mayo coming up!

My Favorite DIY

My Favorite Giggle

That's all for this week gang!

Don't forget to follow me on my social media for tons more fun stuff through the week.

    1. We used one called AnyList when we had iPhones and the one thing it had that this ap doesn't have is categories. It put them in "Produde", "Canned Goods", "Baking", etc. But this one works great. I hope you find some yummies you like!!
