Celebrate the big game with the help of Walmart and Tyson Deli Wings!

Can you believe it that it is almost the end of football season? I can't! I always hate it when the season draws to a close, just because our home-gating has to be put on hiatus until the next season, but there is just about nothing we look forward more to than the big game. Football is almost a religion in our house. Seriously! We have rituals that we go through for every game. Kevin puts on different hats, and shirts depending on the score, and will change where he is sitting hoping to effect the game. I know, don't say it, I just humor him and giggle under my breath.

Aside from enjoying the craziness of the game, plus all of the crazy commercials (face it, you look forward to them too), I love coming up with tons of terrific nibbles for the big game party. Sometimes I look for a little help. That’s where Tyson Wings come in. Did you know that you can get ready to eat Tyson Hot Wings and Tyson boneless General Tso’s Wings in the Walmart deli? I didn't! Color me all kinds of happy!!

Walmart sells the wings several different ways, so you can get as many or as little as you want. They have them as part of a plated meal, wings by the pound, or part of a Pick 3 Bucket which is perfect for game time.

For this day I grabbed a pound of the General Tso’s Boneless Chicken Wings and Bone-in Hot Wings. They are both delicious as is, but we really like dipping sauces. My friend Hezzi over at Hezzi D's Books and Cooks created an amazing Creamy Sesame Soy Dipping Sauce, so I decided to create a sauce for the Bone-in Hot Wings.

We absolutely love ranch dressing with our hot wings, and I have made my original ranch dressing to use with them so many times I can barely count, but this time we wanted something a little different. That was when I decided to zip it up with some jalapeno. We love things spicy around here so Kevin was right on board with the idea.

It seemed like it was a good idea because we demolished the wings in no time flat and then went in for the General Tso's. WOW they were good. I loved how quick and easy they made my party prep, and know I will be buying a lot more when the big game rolls around. Now let's just hope my team ends up there again!!

  1. I love y our husband's rituals!! I used to do that during games when I was younger, but now, as a mom, I just don't have the time (or the energy, or the focus haha) These wings look so good, and are perfect for homegating!! #client

  2. It is so clear to follow. I'll make it at home soon. Thanks.

    1. Yay! I am so happy to hear that you will be making it. It is so simple and soooo delicious!
