My New Morning Routine with BelVita Breakfast Bites and V8 Veggie Blend

Hello, my name is Bobbi and I am a breakfast skipper. How about you? Come on, raise your hand nice and high! 31 million Americans skip breakfast each day, so I know there are a lot of you out there that are just like me.

On most days I grab a cup of coffee, head to my computer, and the next thing I know it is 1 PM, my energy is kaput, and I am starving. At that point I hit the kitchen like a ravenous lion on the prowl, and whatever I come across is my prey. That usually means bad choices, and overeating. But my goal for the new year has been to make healthier choices, so that routine went right out the window.

My new 2015 routine is:

1 - Getting 8 hours of sleep each night which helps me feel the best the next day. 

Regular sleep is just as important to healthy living as diet and exercise.

2 - Getting up early to exercise, even if it is just 15 minutes on my treadmill. 

Before, I would get up, grab some coffee, and immediately sit down to work. Once I began, I had a hard time trying to find a stopping point to squeeze in a workout (plus it was easier to just brush it off and tell myself "I will do it tomorrow"). 

3 - Making healthier breakfast choices each day. 

On the weekends Kevin and I enjoy making breakfast together. Last Sunday was asparagus, mushroom, and goat cheese egg white omelets. But BelVita and V8 come to my rescue through the week. I will get my workout in, hit the shower, and then head straight to the computer to get to work. Now, instead of telling myself I need to reach a certain dress size, I am making sure that will be an energetic and healthy Grandma to my son's child that is due in June. I am going to make sure that I have the energy to chase those toddling little baby feet around my house, and set a good example of how to be healthy. It doesn't get much better than that right?
