Big thanks to Lingham's Hot Sauce for sponsoring this post

Soooooo we made it to the playoffs again this year  *woot* *woot*

In my house we look forward to football season almost as much as Christmas! One look at our living room, and you can tell that we are die hard Seahawks fans. Flags, blankets, all that good stuff. My wardrobe consists of about 10 or 12 different Seahawk hoodies and shirts. You will never catch me on a Friday or Sunday without my gear on, and our way of saying goodbye is "Go Hawks"

We have already started the G-baby down that road. The first thing we bought her was a Seahawks bib and little Seahawks shoes. I have been trying to teach her to say Nana and then Go Hawks!!

This year my son is getting Sundays off through football season, and I am so excited about that. It has been a while since we have been able to get the entire family together in one place for a football game. It's gonna get loud and rowdy around here!! My daughter has even become a Hawks fan and, if she can't be with us for the game, we are texting back and forth about what is going on.

So in honor of the playoffs, and my new fave hot sauce, I decided to combine two of my favorite football party foods. Buffalo hot wings and burgers. I love wings, but man oh man do they make a mess, and the last thing I want to do is get wing sauce on my Wilson jersey! Oh Laaawwwwwd no! Can't mess up the mojo ya know!!

Yup, I loves me some football, and my Seahawks, and have my rituals that I do to hopefully boost our winning vibes. But, I don't think anyone is as superstitious as Kevin. He really takes it to the next level sometimes. To watch him watch a game is hilarious.

Let me see if I can set the scene for you here.

OK, game has started, he has his jersey and one of his Seahawks hats on.

Now, if we start doing bad, he will change his hat. If we still don't improve her will change out of his jersey and into a a Seahawks T-shirt or sweatshirt. If he leaves the room and we score, he will leave the room every time we get close to the end zone. He will also change where he is sitting in the living room. From the sofa, to the love seat, to the arm of the chair. It really is quite a show gang.

But, my neurotic boyfriend aside, let's get down to bidness with this burger shall we?

OhhEmmmmGeeeee and hoooooolllllly shizz. Say anything and everything you can that means it is good because IT.IS.DAYUM.GOOD!

I knew that I loved the flavor of the Lingham's hot sauce. We have been putting it on just about everything. Ohhh it is AAAHHHH- MAZING on eggs and hash browns! #drooling

But I was super excited to incorporate it into these Buffalo Chicken Burgers, and that excitement was for a good reason. It added the perfect amount of heat, with that "tang" that you want in really good hot wings, and it isn't a heat for heat’s sake sauce, it is a spicy, unique, real tasting hot sauce that can be used in so many different recipes.

PLUS y'all know how much I love finding products that don't include all of that artificial stuff. Lingham's is 100% all natural, verified non GMO, Halal and Kosher. Yup, that makes it the good stuff peeps!

This is not just hot sauce, it is the hot sauce!

The rest of the family agrees. The kids were actually fighting over which of the hot sauces they wanted to take home.

PPfffftttt like I am giving up ANY of them. I told them that they can find their own at Walmart.

Now that we have tried it, there is no going back to the other stuff!

But, back to the burger, Kevin was doubting me because we all know that chicken can dry out on the grill. Oh ye of little faith! He had to eat his words, literally, when these burgers were done. He even admitted that he thought they would fall apart on the grill because of the hot sauce in the meat!

Really? This ain't my first burger rodeo here!

I was soooo bummed that I only made 3 burgers because Kevin called dibs on the leftover one as soon as he took a bite. I would have loved to have it for late night consumption. How awesome would one of these bad boys be when you get hit with the midnight munchies?

Or is that just me?

I can wake up in the middle of the night, barely be able to make out the clock because my eyeballs don't want to work together, and immediately my stomach is like the monster from The Little Shop of Horrors. Feeeeeeed me Seymour, feeeeeeeeeeeeeed me!!

I will tell it to shut up, seriously, I talk out loud sometimes.

Ya, I guess Kevin isn't the only weird one eh?
