Thai Style Ribs - Meaty, juicy, baby back ribs with a sweet/heat Thai inspired sauce. They are guaranteed to blow your mind!
Happy Thursday my foodie peeps!
I am triple excited today.
#1 it is G-baby Thursday, so I get my gorgeous grand daughter all day long *swoon*
#2 My friend Brianne from Cupcakes to Kale Chips asked me to guest blog.
#3 it is my birthday!
I know at my age birthdays shouldn't be a big deal, or I should be avoiding the idea of getting older altogether. I guess it is more about celebrating life, rather than my birthday. Heyyyyy I made it another year folks!!
Seriously though, as I have gotten older I have realized that we need to take time to be happy for the things we have, and I guess my birthday is just one of those days for me now. It is waaaaaaaaaaaaay too easy to focus on the negative, and what we don't have. So days like this make me take a step back from work, and bills, and stress, and really take a look at what I do have in my life.
Am I getting a little too serious?
Ya, prolly so.
OK, let's get down to the grub shall we?
And, in Kevin's words, these ribs are "Grubbin'"
We love pork! Smoked pork, pulled pork, ribs, chops, roasts, bring on the porkaliciousness! But with all of the grilling we have been doing lately (like everyday for the last month and half!), we just needed to change it up. That was when I decided to work on a recipe that would give our favorite pork (ribs) one of our favorite flavor profiles (Asian), and that was how these babies were born. You have sweet, salty, spicy, all in one juicy meaty mouthful!
Oh geezzzzz now I want more!!
I guess I am off to the store...
P.S. If you would like to see the latest cuteness from the G-baby, take a peep at this video.
